The name heats up everyone who likes reading about inner desires and sexual passion. A basic instinct in every human being. Not only for that, weaving incidents into an interesting story is his forte. That's why he is still in the fray though there are number of authors with the credit of elaborating carnal desires and actions in many ways. Robbins knew very well where to trigger the button of human mind and he was the master in it.

Recently, I have read "Predators" novel , written by Harold Robbins. So late. But okay. Just to kill the time during a journey. The whole theme about a Jew-American who turned to be a soldier in the second world war and at the same time roped in a business deal with an European company. Jerry Cooper, the protagonist posted in the town of France on his war laden duty.

Here , the writer described the difference between two worlds of Europe and America. Four letter words, homosexuals and all possible erotic experiments delude the reader and this novel published some decades back. Water business Mafia and their games are entertaining and that's why some wise guy said that business is just like a war. It's not a great classic but one time reading is enough.

--- Murthy kvvs
Murthy K v v shttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14208442195760265289noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-629429201890227989.post-7301992349335301042024-01-28T18:15:00.004+05:302024-01-28T18:16:09.747+05:30A Unique Novella Unveiled

The novel "Nirantara Yatrikudu" will stand as a milestone in Telugu literature, the author Murthy K.V.V.S. has written the British history of Bhadrachalam division in a very simple style. Both were so desperate and ruthless to overtake each other's empire. Richard Armstrong who hailed from an obscure Jewish family from the eastern part of Europe.

He lost his family and nearest ones during the ravage invasion of Hitler's army. By changing his original name Lubji Hoch to Richard , fought behalf England and eventually his interest in the media brought him to launch a daily. His success in the venture made him powerful in other aspects too.

On the other side, in Australia, Keith Townsend son of a renowned media baron wanted to extend his family business entire world.

Keith was an Oxford educated and money was not a problem for him. His prime rival was none other than Richard Armstrong.

The whole book is all about their plans, strategies and weaknesses and conspiracies etc. Some readers said that the author built the same story line in Kane and Abel but I have never read it.

Novel goes slowly and lot of pages consumed in building two main characters elaborately. The global scale war between two media barons to invade the territories of each other's circulation explained how employees were used and thrown at times.

Their desperate struggle led to destruction and were thrown into debts anyway. The novel first published in 1996 and afflicted with some legal issues.

Rumors were there that the concept has been drawn from the real incidents of Maxwell and Murdoch.

--- Murthy

#fourthestate #jeffryarcher #mediabarons #fiction
Murthy K v v shttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14208442195760265289noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-629429201890227989.post-34249051194967342262023-12-26T18:23:00.004+05:302023-12-26T18:28:30.225+05:30 Why are some books so nostalgic?

We read many works. The story in them takes us to place somewhere. Be it a city, a town, a village... and even after reading it once and putting it away, those places do not leave us so quickly.

We keep mentally traveling there. Unless the author is writing with a great imagination , we don't really feel it. Is this an art..? if it is so, we don't find it in all writers equally !

There should be some magic converting the scene into letters that would invoke to see pictures with our mind's eye.

For instance, if we read Charles Dickens, we will go to London, if we read Thomas Hardy, we will go to Wessex, if we read Mark Twain, we will go to Mississippi, if we read William Faulkner, we will go to the inland areas of the southern part of America.

Jane Austen has lived in a rural area all her life, and all that beauty can be seen in novels like Pride and Prejudice. Of course, all these are meant to be virtual purely.

Where does all that beauty come from? Any place, has a color and a taste. It is embedded in the surroundings, people and atmosphere.

When it is painted as it is without any judgment, an honesty emerges. There lies the true beauty in the words. The right and selective words sometimes show a picture in front of us.

We can't say, every time, a great writer would do such wonder but sometimes that happens and then a reader can't forget all along his life for that quality of description.

One more thing, if we read Joseph Conrad, we feel like we are sailing on the sea. Because he lived like that. It is doubtful that whether all those who sailed on the sea wrote like that or not.

It seems that the art of visualizing a feeling very skillfully is something like meditation deeply and in such people that blooms smoothly for reaching the people. In every unforgettable classic , we find more and more of such portrayal characteristics to enhance the emotional imageries.

I think Somerset Mom and Graham Greene's stories are influenced by their travels, the characters are in various places with living creatures.

There is something special to say about Ruskin Bond who lives in Mussoorie in our country. While reading his works, the hills, ants, trees, ants, animals, insects, etc. in the Himalayan slopes just keep lingering in our mind's eye.

--- Murthy Kvvs
Murthy K v v shttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14208442195760265289noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-629429201890227989.post-49173050563941687822023-11-12T17:50:00.005+05:302023-11-12T17:50:50.060+05:30A Day to Cherish

A farewell program arranged in the premises of SNAM ZPS school of Narsapuram, recently. It's a unique mix of fantasy, magic, black magic, yoga and a sort of thrilling story of Hindi block buster movie. Further more, dealt with the rights of LGBT people. Story set in Delhi with an array of characters like Jai Gill and his family members who all adept at black magic, in western sense, witches. But they teach Yoga classes for well off people and keep earning very well.

Rajani sahab and their family came into the neighborhood with a conceit motive. Friendship turned rivalry for a weird reason. Secret organizations move with secret missions. You have to read and know it. That's much better. Some unusual and bizarre rituals would also be known while performing sadhana. At climax, we feel that it is an apt material for some Hindi movie to scare people and keep minting money. Writer Zorian Cross is a theater person, perhaps that quality makes the book dramatic and sometimes interesting with suspense creation.

Available with Amazon.

Murthy K v v shttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14208442195760265289noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-629429201890227989.post-88852833671453609772023-08-07T19:21:00.005+05:302023-08-07T19:23:34.308+05:30Cattle lingering

The cattle was just being gone outside. Once upon a time it was in the part of Bhadrachalam division.

Saturday Critters Link

Murthy K v v shttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14208442195760265289noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-629429201890227989.post-32332649285272251842023-07-29T22:41:00.007+05:302023-07-29T22:55:42.773+05:30Goats in search of food

Clicked the goats at Parnasala. There are thirteen stories, all are filled with train journeys. It is not only about journeys. It's all about what makes a journey for children and adults alike. Sleepy and small railway stations, tunnels, surrounding forests, small towns, people with their usual errands and an enchanting tale telling would make us linger in those places. All stories created from everyday happenings. Yet, we see something witty and life around us. Time stops at Shamili is the lengthy story comparing to other ones.

How a lone watchman who guards tunnel railway tracks amidst the dense forest is portrayed in the story of Dragon in the tunnel. Felt mesmerized and enjoined with him in his works. His salary is meagre but he does it out of love towards the work. Sometimes, wild animals like leopards would take rest in the darkness of tunnels, but the watchman with the help his lamp drove them out because the leopards would be run over by the train. As they both see each other regularly, leopard behaves also friendly.

And all other stories like Snake trouble, The night train at Deoli, Belting around Mumbai, going home, the long day, the woman on the platform no:8 are enjoyable while reading. We become children in some situations and happier about our past incidents. Ruskin Bond's style of writing is unique in everyway. His microscopic view makes us amazing while insects, animals and other creatures were portrayed in a simple yet realistic way. Weaving an interesting story out of a small incident or no incident needs a masterful mind. I constantly draw inspiration from Ernest Hemingway and Ruskin Bond in this regard.

----- Murthy Kvvs

#Blogchatter Blog Hop

Blogchatter link

(Submitted to The Blogchatter for "Best thrillers you have read" prompt)

(
Murthy K v v shttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14208442195760265289noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-629429201890227989.post-53279965386447128842023-05-10T19:13:00.001+05:302023-05-10T19:13:28.732+05:30Creative ways to involve kids with you
Story telling is the best way to involve kids with us. Deep down, every one of us a story teller with some stories to tell. But very few people has ability to make it an interesting one. What makes a story interesting in the first place ? Clarity and no confusion in a teller. That's what the important quality needed. See, all enchanting story tellers are confident in their work. With that every thing follows, like making it gripping and thrilling in nature. The easier the language , the better. We need to be down to earth. Then only the listener ,importantly kids get connected.

And next, drawing is also the best way to get kids involved. Picaso once said that every child is a painter by birth. It sounds unusual but which will be proved correct if we do a small experiment. Provide color pencils and papers to some children. They grab them without any second thought. And start drawing whatever they have in their minds. With great conviction, they do it. All their drawings have some beauty as they are their brain children. With that habit, they will grow in imagination richly.

The both creative ways mentioned above are my all time favorites in the matter of kids to involve with.

----- Murthy Kvvs

Note : This post is a part of Blogchatter Blog Hop ( Prompt : Creative Ways to involve kids with you) Blogchatter link
Murthy K v v shttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14208442195760265289noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-629429201890227989.post-80711812934453927892023-05-05T18:07:00.005+05:302023-05-05T18:07:45.160+05:30An Enchanting Story collection
" Koraput and Other Stories" a collection 15 stories written in Oriya by Gourahari Das and it turned into English language by Saroj Mishra and Gopa Nayak. Indeed an able translation to have stirred the chords of the heart. The first story (eponymous) based on the backdrop of Koraput. Nature's bounty along with a set of problems like extremists and poverty ridden people encompassed in it. Gourahari Das showed his adept in telling the story and made the reader comfortable at the same time. It's all about kidnapping a woman while she traveled to Koraput to teach a lesson to a corrupted officer. Who...the kidnappers were extremists. They became successful in getting ransom and the woman got freed with no harm done. In this story we can understand how beautiful Koraput area with its high rising mountains, lush green forests and people with their problems.

The second story "Once the sky was blue" described the blues of a street vendor. How his small makeshift outlet in a busy road of Bhubaneswar was uprooted by a powerful Mall owner has portrayed and the small players have to be innovative and adoptive with changing times otherwise livelihood would become difficult. "Mirage" story tells us how a dreadful goon Panu Jena lost his valuable life by taking the words of a beautiful dame serious and prestigious. Everybody has a weakness however lethal they were. This is what the message in this one. "Compensation" story described how a flood hit area get filled people with different agonies on the time of floods. Even in that time, some people would try to cheat public money.

There were other stories all let us know about different problems of rural background and urban based also. Writer Gourhari Das showed prudence in selecting themes. He took characters from Bangladesh migrants and flashy media life and household problems and what not. English translation is also crispy and reader friendly. More of like this should come out from every state to get known to other people. Interestingly Ruskin Bond wrote a couple of appreciative words about this collection and they were truthful. Why should we add reality..? to make others believe us. Yes, in one sense, it may sound hyperbolic and too good to trust. But when we go to have real thrust or make sincere effort the thing of reality give us moral courage. By which only our story become reliable to the world outside. Reality could change person to person, yet, which has some relatability to all.

#Imagination

Imagination is the key to open any door. As of now, we all might have heard or listened some hundreds of stories. If we see it keenly, there were very few important elements but each one could have influenced us in its own way. That's what the power of imagination. All popular writers have this unique quality immensely. Even they used to say the same story in different colors and that will make us feel differently.

#Newness

Some new things to add is inevitable to make our stories diverse. Reader should not fed up with our age old techniques. There must be variety of things to intrigue with. Be it story telling way or factual collection or whatever, it should have some newness to appeal. Diversity is important in all things of life, then only adding it to our stories is possible.

----- Murthy Kvvs

Note : This post is a part of Blogchatter Blog Hop ( Prompt : 3 Ways you can add diversity to your stories) Blogchatter link
Murthy K v v shttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14208442195760265289noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-629429201890227989.post-30159328038714023072023-04-22T17:48:00.002+05:302023-04-22T17:48:09.734+05:30Raise voice against the cruel hearts

The other day surprised with the spectacle of horses at the Ambedkar Center. Our temple town is busy accommodating cows, oxen and stray dogs here and there on the roads. But our folks are so patient to cope up with all these innocent creatures. Leave stray dogs aside, that has become a universal problem. Cows and Oxen seemed to be pity. What happened to their human masters ? Why would they be penalized as responsible for leaving them on to the busy roads and caused accidents..? The are the real culprits. Not the innocent creatures. They could have been exploited when those creatures were able to do field work and give milk to sell.

Now, they were thrown to outside to their fate. How is it correct ? that too in a country where a cow is treated like Holy creature. Are our values only to be uttered and not to be practiced ? That's why all this punishment should be given to the masters of these ones. Sometimes, those innocent creatures meet accidents and remain wayside. And keep walking in a difficult way. This is not the problem of local bodies, every human being should come forward to address it and to raise voice against the cruel hearts.
Murthy K v v shttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14208442195760265289noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-629429201890227989.post-74446198051296498732023-02-20T22:18:00.002+05:302023-02-20T22:18:08.398+05:30A Writer who penned about Sri Bhadrakali sametha Veerabhadra Swamy temple at Thegada
There is a considerable bondage between "Bhadrakali sametha Veerabhadra swamy" and respected Dr. Chintalapudi Venkateswrlu garu, who is also like a mentor for us. He penned Veerabhadrasathakam in 2010, on the request of m son Chi.Bhanuprakash. In fact,he studied M.A (Telugu).,Ph.D and has been working as a drawing teacher at Sri Seetharama Aided high school, located at Satanaraanapuram.where I also got educated as well.

It made me very happy that he had penned Sathakam with a crown of "VinuthaThegadeccha Veerabhadra". As a chief priest , I would say our Veerabhadra Swamy (Tegada) is a God of serenity filled face. Like Bhadrachala Rama, our God also has his consort on his left thigh , which is so unique and never to be seen in an other place in the world. In general, he gives darshanam in standing posture. Our Veerabhadra Swamy's uniqueness is evidently seen.

Sri Chintalapudi Venkateswarlu garu was an erudite scholar , researcher and he liked to be a learner forever. Forward written for this book by him is a rare privilege. Having shouldered the work of the Lord and preface written b Dr.Chintalapudi garu, nothing short of fulfillment of my pious deeds in the past birth. I always feel so.

I am the fourth son of my parents, Sri Yallamandala Bhadrayya garu and Bhadramma garu. Without any effort from m side, Priestly duties came to me and which is a boon for me. Our Mangalasaasanams to my parents for this.

In the ninth poem of Veerabhadra sathakam,Dr.Chintalapudi sir described the glory of Tegada Ceerabhadra Swamy so vividly. And 10th poem portrayed how immensely Veerasaivas devoted to the Swamy.

He also urged Swamy to show the solutions to the present day problems, be it sociological, political or social whatever. It his good nature, to have personified written this sathakam. We can observe it in 107th poem.

Ma the blessings of our Tegada Sri Bhadrakali sametha Veerabhadra Swamy be with Sriman Chintalapudi Venkateswarlu garu always..!

----- Yallamandala Sravan Kumar

Manager, Bhadrakali Sahitha Veerabhadra Swamy vari Devasthanam.

Murthy K v v shttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14208442195760265289noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-629429201890227989.post-52981321279215688412023-02-03T08:26:00.001+05:302023-02-03T08:26:24.920+05:30Cricketer Trisha : Temple town's pride

Gongadi Trisha (17) , a girl hailed from the Temple town Bhadrachalam created history by being a part of women's U-19 to 20 world cup finals and she caused beating England in the finals. Billboards appeared in the town in appreciation of her. Her father Rami Reddy was a well known gym trainer in his own outlet apart from working for ITC paperboards. In searching of great future for her daughter , he left Bhadrachalam to Hyderabad and got trained her in the St. John's cricket academy under the coaches of John Manoj and Srinivasan. Even when in the town of Bhadrachalam, from the tender age , she has been trained hard in view of future aspects. Her father Rami Reddy's vision was praiseworthy and he tried his best to get his lad right up to the position of coveted cricketer.

This is the beginning in her long journey ahead and let's wish her to excel many milestones. Facebook and many other social media platforms stormed with greetings. A clear example of persistence and hard work can be seen in this case and no way lesser than any melodrama flick. In these days, women's cricket is also gaining momentum on par with men's cricket and Mithali Raj deserved all the credit as a pioneer in the field. Mahasiva Ratri festival is synonymous with Swami vaaru for them. Premises of the temple swerved with the waves devotees. Swami's Darshanam on Mahasiva Ratri brought happiness and prosperity all along the year according to Devotees. That's their staunch belief.

On the early morning of Mahasiva Ratri festival,Swami vaaru starts off to nearby Godvari river and in return, the deities take rest at Gommugudem, which is the original place of Swami vaaru. The divine couple receive the obeisance of the devotees. The journey of the deities move from there to Tegada and would witness large scale of cracker sounds and traditional music of Melataalaalu.

Devotees start to dance in trance with brandishing swords and cutting pumpkins, lifting them into air. They make sounds like Assharabha sharabha while cutting air lifted pumpkins. It would remind us that Veerabhadra was cutting the head of Daksha. All these passionate things done by devotees were beyond the description.

At the time of evening, Sunku ritual is arranged. It will be done twice within a few hours. First time, rice weighed in a bowl in front of Swami vaaru, amazingly the rice would be more and increased in weight. It happens within a few hours of gap after placing them before the Deities. By it the God indicated his grace towards the Jatara celebration.

After that Narapala ritual commence and which makes onlookers awestruck and they feel out of body experience. Devotees pin tridents into their foreheads, tongues and cheeks. They would move around the temple with all their devotion in the hearts. Veerabhadra Swami is their mother and father in their thoughts and with such feel only they would do all these fearsome activities.

Before all else, Prime Deity Veerabhadra Swami is invited into dried coconut and done Narapaalu ritual later on. And it would be provided to chief priest, Jangama people and devotees respectively. Devotees who were filled with utmost devotion would never shed blood while pinning tridents into their limbs. With chanting Khadgams of the Swami vaaru, all that arduous things are done by devotees. It is said to be so.

Paagolla ritual is celebrated in succession, in the part of it, devotees would wear nail studded chappals and take rounds of the temple. Chief priest get himself pinned the trident into his tongue and wear nail furnished chappals. He moved forefront , enduring all the pain borne by it. In fact, it's not all about pain and endurance problem for the devotees of Veerabhadra Swami. It's the glorious act done by the greatness of that Veerabhadra Swami.

Next, in the early morning the stern ritual of walking on the fire embers. Usually we can't endure a hot day. While devotees keep walking on the fire, they don't feel any suffering or get burnt. All these kind of heroic activities are seen in the Jatara are only the proof of steadfast devotion f devotees in Veerabhadra.

On other hand, some devotees would come here with huge chronicles to pay their promised dues. It was a spectacular scene indeed. They would never fail to come here every year and which shows their undeterred devotion in other words. After that, in the morning, Kalyanam takes place to mother Parvathi in the form of Paanavattam, and Veerabhadeswara Swami in the form of Linga. All it to be performed for Utsava muurthulu. On the other hand, the same Kalyanam will be performed to Muula muurthulu. It would be done with a great pomp.

That means Kalyanam will be celebrated for both Utsava muurthulu and Muula muurthulu simultaneously. It has its own uniqueness and background. Once, before our independence, the village staged a lot of action but remained serene now due to its destiny or whatever you say. Then here was a navigation centre nearby Godavari river for the convenience of colonial administration needs. Because of 1986 floods and its wreak havoc many government offices have been shifted to Lakshminagaram an adjacent village, almost 5 miles away.

Now the place looked calm and deserted but the statues erected long back were gentle and glorious to look at. Bhanu prakash

( English translation done by Murthy Kvvs)

Sri Veerabhadra Swamy, with the consort of Bhadrakali Ammavaru, now the reigning deity of Tegada village. In fact, they had been worshipped at the village of Gommugudem village earlier, almost for more than two hundred fifty years. Lakhs of devotees were used to worship the deity , on the occasion of Mahasivaratri festival celebrations. Such was the glory in those days. Two "Vibhuti Balls" were worshipped as the two deities in lieu of idols.

We, being hailed from Veerasaiva Jangama, have to adorn Sivalingam around our neck which was considered as our Atmalingam. That means Lord Siva is our Clan's deity and all in all for us. We should perform rituals and ablutions every morning to the Sivalingam that we wear around neck. In line of that, our ancestors were said to be worshipped "Bhadrakali sametha Veerabhadra Swamy".

Our Veerasaiva community is blessed with Peethams at Srisailam, Kaashi, Rambhapuri,Ujjain and Kedarnath. All these are called illumined Pancha acharya Peethams. Each principal temple inducted us as the chief priest , So we are fortunate to serve Lord Parameswara and As Veerasaivas, this is a great boon for us.

1st Generation : Our ancestors had been sent to Lingala village to perform traditional rituals at the Lord Siva's temple. Sri Yallmandala Sivayya garu came to this place on the order of Kakatiya rulers in that line. In fact, our ancestors were serving in the Thousand pillars temple, located at Warangal. With the donation of 600 acres of land for the purpose of expenses towards the temple, our ancestors were appointed as priests in those days.

They have started performing pujas to the Vibhuthi Balls earlier. The Holy deities installed in that form instead of idols. They also keep doing pujas to the Atmalingams that they have on their bodies. And at the same time, they were performing their priestly duties. Arrangements were made on large scale on the occasion of Mahasivaratri festival.

2nd Generation : In the time of Sri Yallamandala Bhadrayya garu (s/o Sivaa garu) also worship had been done for Vibhuthi Balls , considering them as holy deities. Mahasivaratri Jatara started on a grand note at Gommugudem in this phase.

3rd Generation : Sri Kantayya garu (s/o Yallamandala Bhadrayya garu) shifted his base to Gommugudem and several other kinsfolk also followed him to serve in the work of the God. He performed Mahasivaratri in a grand manner at his residential place. With Vibhuthi Balls inside the teak box, they would offer Prasadam.

When ,one day, sri Kantayya garu was out of the place to meet the zamindar of Venkatapuram, some burglars barged into the house and tried to destroy iron box and other boxes but no harm happened. Desperately the evil people had set ablaze the house but by the grace of Almighty their effort went futile.

Sri Kantayya garu came to home and slept happily, leaving everything to Sri Bhadrakali and Veerabhadra Swamy. How could evil be won when the grace of the God was with pious people..? In the same night, Swamy appeared in the dream of Sri Kantayya garu and ordered to make Panchaloha idols. Artisan was in Dhowleswaram, so he has to bring Artisan secretly to make the idols. It was a revelation of the Almighty.

There was no road facility to Dhowleswaram in those days. He took boat upto Dummugudem and from there travelled by steamer upto Dhowleswram. Artisan Narasimhachary was brought and made the Panchaloha idols secretly. With penances of 5 day long, taking only water and using 16 kgs of ghee, the Panchaloha idol was made. It was created so elegantly.

Sri Kantayya garu paid the Artisans more than what he promised earlier. He placed them safely back at Dhowleswaram. That's how the Divine couple made their journey from Vibhuthi Balls to Panchaloha Idols. Mahasivaratri celebrations drew people in a large way, right from Ummidaaram to Gommugudem.

4th Generation : Mahasivaratri celebrations had done in a grand manner during the life time of Sri Lingayya garu (s/o Sri Yallamandala Kantayya garu). Large gatherings were seen all across the banks of Godavari, at the side of Gommugudem.

5th Generation : Sri Yallamandala Lingayya garu had three sons., Somaya garu,Sivaya garu,Bhadraya garu. Bhadrayya garu was more pious and he performed pujas. Being a zamindar by birth, he conducted Mahasivaratri with great pomp and gaiety. During the floods of 1953, base of divine couple shifted to Tegada village. Bhadrayya garu served as a district president of Congress party. He was a humble and down to earth person. He was always applauded by his brothers for his devotional nature.

While shifting, the people of Gommugudem pleaded with him not to do so, he promised them that the holy idols would come here to have offerings on the festival of Mahasivaratri. In that way, the holy idols would stop here for a rest and accept their offerings even to this day, especially on the occasion of Mahasivaratri.

Right from 1954, the same custom has been going on, having done ablutions in the nearby Godavari waters and stopping at Gommugudem is still in vogue. Then only Swamy moves from here to Tegada village with a great procession.

Sri Bhadrayya garu, in the same year, wanted to build a huge temple, own house and to buy two cars but unfortunately he attained Sivasaaujam and his dreams remained unfulfilled. Sri Kasu Brhmananda Reddy and Sri Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy came to the house to solace the spouse. One can understand his stature through this incident.

6th Generation : Sri yallamandala Somaya garu has two sons, named by Sri Kantayya garu and Nagendrayya garu. Sivaa garu has no issue. Nagalingayya, Sivapratap, Somasekhar, Sravan kumar, Veerabhadra swam garlu are the sons of Bhadrayya garu. Nagalingayya garu performed priestly duties for more than 3 decades. Along with siblings, he conducted Mahasivaratri celebrations for 5 years.

Dignitaries of Tegada and remaining villages of Charla mandalam started to provide their contributions to help Nagalingayya garu since his financial position was not in good condition. All people, barring age differences, had extended their wholehearted support as the were very responsive in nature. Even 10 days before to the Mahasivaratri, Tegada village would become joyful with festive atmosphere.

During 1977-78, Sri Maddi Ramayya garu took Sravan kumar garu (fourth son of Sri Yallamandala Bhadrayya garu) to devotees for a rapport and he taught Sravan garu what he had learnt from Bhadrayya garu. He was always with Sravan garu in disbursing priestly duties with the help of Nagalingayya garu. From that onwards, Sravan kumar garu started to shoulder the work of Mahasivaratri celebrations every year.

It was 1987. Just 9 days before to Mahasivaratri festival, Veerabhadra swamy appeared in my father's dream ordered to build a new temple. My father met elders at once. Sri Datla Ramachandra Raju garu donated 30 bags of cement with kind heart. Sri Nadimpalli Suryanarayana Raju garu provided a tractor. With all these new construction had been done and Swamy vaaru entered the new temple on the Mahasivaratri festival, after having completed ablutions performed with the Godavari waters.

All pujas have been performed in this temple during 1987-2018. Since Swamy was Utsavamurthy, devotees were unable to have Darshanam when the idols went to Godavari for ritual bath. My father, then, thought of "Alaya sikhara nirmanam" and "Mulamurthy" installation. Another temple has to be built to start Sikharam because older one has some flaws in its foundation which was suggested by expert sculptor.

New temple sankhusthapana had taken place on April 30, 2008. And completed by 2018. Under the aegis of Sri Vilaparti Veera venkta satanarayana murthy garu (Machavaram) installed Sri Bhadrakali sametha Veerabhadra Swamy and all Sivaparivaram in the temple, all it has done during June 30 and July1 and 2 of 2018. Now it has become a Panchayatana Kshetram.

Sri Padala Ramakrishna garu and his team built the temple and financial assistance rendered by Sri Doddi Lakshminarayana garu. Right from 1987, the elders of Tegada village and remaining villages of Charla mandalam have been helping Sri Sravan kumar garu with their contributions, which are collected from the people.

Brothers of Sravan kumar garu and children of his brothers like Maddi Bhaskar Reddy,Yenuganti Chadrasekhar, Kona Murali, Kandrapu Chittibabu keep helping him apart from the people of Tegada village.

Present Generation : Children of my father's brothers keep extending their co operation to me. Mandapam, Mukhadwaram, Wall around the temple have to be constructed in the future. So I, Yallamandala Bhanuprakash, request you all earnestly to extend your financial support to get completed the due works. My heartfelt salutations to one and all.

Yours

Sri Bhadrakali sametha Veerabhadra Swamy vaari Devasthanam

Tegada

Temple priest : Sri Yallamandala Bhanuprakash

MOB : 99089 00590
Murthy K v v shttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14208442195760265289noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-629429201890227989.post-60546796139553540772022-09-06T22:32:00.003+05:302022-09-06T22:32:16.843+05:30Spiritual abode - Chinna Arunachalam

Narsapuram, a small village is just about 16 km from the temple town of Bhadrachalam. It's the place for which I wanted to write a few words long back. But time permits me now to do so. Here a temple was built in a small way and with the donations from the philanthropists evolved into a considerable temple construction. The temple is named as Chinna Arunachalam. Chief deity is Arunachaleswara and additionally several sub shrines were also there dedicated to different Gods.

There is some person named Siva guru swami behind all this gigantic construction. He is a staunch devotee of Arunachaleswara and with his strong desire the construction got mostly completed. All the needed inaugural rituals like Kumbhabhishekam and other things fulfilled some months back. There are many acres of land donated by father of Sivaguru swami. And some other land was purchased for different purposes like Nitya Annadaana satram and other requirements.

There were many beautiful idols of Lord Siva and other ones, all these have been sculpted by experts in traditional art form. Food is always ready to serve the devotees free of cost as there is a Nitya annadaana satram attached to the temple. Not only that, a school for studying of Vedas is also in the premises. From here, Parnasala is almost 20 km, so the devotees or visitors who are starting from Bhadrachalam can also visit it in their return journey.

With the start of this temple, the place has turned into a busy hub with several small hotels, shops and other outlets. Recently, the temple provided Rudrakshas to the interested devotees to wear. Day by day, it is getting attracted by devotees. On special days and festivals, visitors come in large numbers. And one more thing is a shelter for protection of cows, there we can find a beautiful Lord Krishna's statue. That was really a great idea. Altogether, this is a place of calm, serene and spiritual ambiance.
Murthy K v v shttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14208442195760265289noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-629429201890227989.post-61296212291173385282022-06-23T08:55:00.005+05:302022-06-23T08:55:59.476+05:30Sri Somaraju Ramanuja Rao
Sri Somaraju Ramanuja Rao(1896-1934), a name that definitely be a most widely known one amongst the Telugu playwrights. Got trained somewhat playing major and minor scales apart from strumming passionately. It really would stir the inner realms of soul and give us joy when we start playing. There is lot of subject, having based on seven musical notes CDEFGABC just like what sa ri ga ma pa da ni sa for our Indian traditional music. Learning on surface is different from getting the core subject of the Guitar. This is what I understood from my little knowledge.

Without having hours of practice daily it's impossible to master over any instrument. But many people think that having grip over an instrument is as simple as that of an online or offline course. Truly which needs lots of love and dedication along with the practice. As myself is many things rolled into one went through the road of music and grasped all these nuances from my experience. I have never resorted to eke out a living nor have seen a sought after profession in it but gave a try out of my passion on the stringed instrument for a while. Really those were the moments of inexpressible mirth and joy.

Coming to the point, leaving my ramblings aside, Today is an important day for me and something to remember as I have donated a Guitar to the Music instructor Eliya sir, who happened to be the director of Shruthilaya Academy. My sole aim behind this is, it can be useful as a teaching instrument for many pupil in the future and which is to be garnered in the hands of music virtuoso. Do all this really deserve encomiums whatsoever...? Not a bit in my view, just an opportunity to give back to our society.
Murthy K v v shttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14208442195760265289noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-629429201890227989.post-61390340768848127982022-05-03T17:25:00.003+05:302022-05-03T17:25:18.878+05:30A Colonial Village
The other day, date is not striking, went to Dummugudem. It has now nothing great to say but some old buildings which had been built during the ruling of the British. A small sleepy village situated close to the banks of river Godavari. Senior citizens told me many times about the unique existence of this place, though it looks small and nondescript now, once upon a time, lot of action had taken place with busy bazars and colonial British employees. A navigation work shop had been built nearby it to have communications through the river. Here, on the road, A building in dilapidated condition attracted my attention. And I captured the same to post on my social platforms. Once the feudal families lived in it to execute the farming in the villages around it.

After passing the construction, there were some cattle so leisurely taking rest under a banyan tree. Heatwaves souring high but these bovines remained cool. Why should I lose the chance..? Immediately captured that pose for my blog. Village was calm with serene ambiance and mysterious past. Many tales could have been told but nobody was there at the moment to make further inquiries. There were some tombs of colonial employees just a couple of miles away. And they would say historical dates and other details about the place.

Murthy K v v shttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14208442195760265289noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-629429201890227989.post-79052874886449012262022-02-20T17:39:00.003+05:302022-02-20T17:39:38.103+05:30Bhadradri Cup
Cricket fever started at the temple town by kicking off the 21st Bhadradri Cup, today in the premises of Junior college pavilion ground. Bhadradri Cup tournament has been on every year for the last 20 years and this is the 21st year. Teams are used to participate from several other states apart from both the Telugu states. Donors, dignitaries and sport lovers thronged here in the inauguration event.

All the ground was decked up with welcome banners and enthusiastic vibes. Usually this ground is the one where daily walking people attend here to have rounds briskly. That was the case with mornings and late evenings, just as a unmissable ritual. With this Cricket event, all sports lovers could enjoy watching the playing skills of cricketers hailed from different places.

Having united for a cause is one thing and getting support from donors is another important thing. Both seemed to be going hand in hand and to make it possible without fail. This time, though it's not high with mercury levels, a bit of heat one could feel by the midday.
