On the Occasion of National Ayurvedic Day

At the premises of  Primary health center of Narsapuram,National Ayurvedic day was celebrated today.Lord Dhanvantari, the  traditional God of Ayurveda has been prostrated on the occasion.Ayurveda is the indigenous medicine of India which had founded the immense value of herbs and plants.The age old medical way of life is still intact with chronic ailments.The great sages like Charaka and Susruta were timeless stalwarts concerned with the medicine and world's first cosmetic surgeon was none other than Susruta,Mr.Murthy uttered the facts on the occasion.

Guest Mr.A.S.Kameswara Rao spoke the significance of Ayurveda and its present need with the changing times.It invokes no side effects and works right from the root cause.Children should understand the medicinal value of natural resources.Mr.Krishna said that Ayurveda has it's own place though which seemed dwindling at times.Dr.Aruna (Arlagudem),Dr.Parimala (Bhadrachalam),Mr.Krishna and staff members Mr.M.Venugopala Rao,Mr.Veerabhadram and others participated in the event.A massive rally launched with the school children to propagate the importance of the Ayurveda medicine.

    I am all for the medicinal value of natural resources and it is great to see the knowledge spread among school children.

    And still we do not know sufficient to treat so many disorders... nature is a powerfull 'docter' but a little help from us would make it able to achieve mor I think
