Our town's library

After a few days of hiatus,happened to be there at our branch library.All the place in and outside of it adorned with interesting things.Green environment updated with latest plants and message oriented posters  pasted inside.Apart from having facilities for reading ,there was something special with providing space and furniture for the candidates who are going for competitive exams.

By 9 p.m.at night one can be there to use the facilities. Many youngsters were seen in there busying with their studies. Unlike now, some years back the library very little place to accommodate many readers. With new building construction,a decade back to say,a phenomenal change happened with lush green ambience,water facility,time extension and staging philanthropic activities.

Walkers ground

Our ground located in the premises of Govt jr college keep serving the townsfolk to have morning walks.It has been a favourite place for slouching and meeting the like minded people to chat.
Both morning and evening,the ground looks peaceful with devoted walkers and fitness freaks.Now,it's gearing up for independence day celebrations by having a pedestal for the purpose.Works are under progress.Here's the picture describing arrangements for it.

Bhavesh Mishra helps out

A unique and never before of its kind in the history of our Bhadrachalam.Our town's branch library is the place where many youngsters are used to come here to prepare to pull off several competition exams including civil services.

Our sub-collector Sri Bhavesh Mishra and Mrs.Mishra keep coming to the library once a weak to teach the class in line of helping the aspirants.It has been happening for several weeks.This is the welcome trend to help out the needy youth.

In one of such classes,a boy attended has shown a unusual talent.He answered several arithmetic problems and got the attention of Sub collector couple.They applauded his meticulous sharpness and presented some books on the spot.

A Music concert

Age old tradition of Bhadrachalam keep going on.Sri Rama navami celebrations kick started. on 24 th of March an event called Ramadasa sahsra galarchana took place in the temple premises where one thousand singers rendered the keerthans written by Sri Ramadasa.This program has been conducted by R.P.Patnaik and team on the occasion of festivities of Sri Rama navami and Mahapattabhisekham.Both well known and budding artists participated in the singing event.As there were large number of singers and laxity in co-ordination,sometimes music naunces went haywire.However a commendable spirit of rendition was seen all over.Swapna,a renowned Tv anchor was also witnessed in the do.

An Incredible guest

There were many writers in the world who keep inspiring the readers.But very few writers have die hard fans to give them back in possible ways.Here,Am going to introduce a person with rare mission.His name is Samir Ranjan Das.Happend to meet him on Facebook page dedicated to the life and writings of Sri Manoj Das,a living legend of Odiya literature and of course an equal figure in Indo anglican writing as well.

Samir is a bank officer and involving with tours to many states in the part of his job.Yet, never forgets his endearing job of sharing the excerpts from his favorite writer's poems,stories,novels and speeches on the FB page and which has large number of followers.Recently developed a website to encompass the complete oeuvre of such a great writer.

Fortunately, we have met at Bhadrachalam,the abode of lord Rama during his stay at Kothagudem on his office work.It was a memorable day having shared many things about how he involved with the writings of the legend,and also talked to Manoj Babu on phone.Quite an experience to cherish it in the moonlit night on a bridge with witnessing the flow of Godavari river.

Children's fest

Charla, a remote village in the division of Bhadrachalam decked up for receiving children from the four mandals of its surrounding to showcase their innate talents at the Balatsov event.Organised by Rahul Vignan vidyalayam.24 and 25 of this month would become gala days for children to enjoy in the events ranging from clay idol making to essay writing and dances to elocution.Varied segments incorporated to extract talent of kids. This day visited the premises to have a glance over the programs and which were in full swing of their own accord.Well organised with good team work,each session was being called by people embarked to the specific duties.Boys and girls were getting busy to have forayed into the arena of their concerned event. It is the second time staging the balotsav as which had proved its integrity and credibility last time.Film director V.N.Aditya,Artist Avasarala Srinivas and other guests were participated.Fluttering flags,abundant greenery and a view of children's gathering all made the place a heaven for spectators.School chairman Dr.Kumar and the brass are to be laudable on the occasion.Here some excerpts presented for you all.

Timber

T for timber, would like to describe a hall which was the part of a college at our temple town.We are seeing above a spacious room where some children seemed to have been taking the examination.Right.It was the part and parcel of the government junior college.Very old but sturdy enough to cope up the passing time.Occasional repairs were there to face lift sake.That's not what I astonish whenever I saw it.In fact,the room had been constructed some decades back,almost during last days of British colonial ruling.

Abundant lighting and air circulation made it something special.Windows were big enough to allow more ventilation.Slopes of both sides protect from rain even it was pouring outside.Added to them,timber used for upper part and possible other parts keep the room cool.An ideal planning for a schooling atmosphere.
